- Light Circuit
-
- The light system is
- composed of the
- wiring harness, the
- lights, and the
- switches that
- control current
- flow to the various
- circuits. The
- light system can be
- broken down into
- individual
- circuits, each
- having one or more
- lights and
- switches. In each
- circuit, lights are
- connected in
- parallel. The
- switch for each
- circuit is in
- series between the
- group of lights and
- the fuse box.
-
- Sometimes one
- switch controls the
- connection to the
- fuse box and a
- second switch
- determines which of
- two circuits is
- energized. The
- hi/low beam switch
- for headlights are
- an example of this
- type of switch.
- Sometimes several
- switches are
- connected in
- parallel, as are
- the courtesy light
- switches, so that
- any one of several
- switches may be
- used to turn on the
- lights.
